Due to the construction ban, only 6 months of work permit per year is available for field applications in Gökçeada. This period is also often interrupted by weather conditions. Prolonged construction increases the return period of hotel investments on the island, negatively affecting the number of initiatives in this field. GeonVillas has provided a contribution to accelerating the construction processes in Gökçeada with a project that can be completed in a single construction season.

The project area experiences strong winds year-round, and using natural stone on facades is mandatory. The fact that the building's structural system, particularly its facade and roof, is suitable for such heavy cladding materials and high wind loads has provided design freedom in the facades.

The Geon LightFrame System allowed the building to be produced in Istanbul and assembled in Gökçeada within 4 weeks, successfully addressing all these challenges.
